The winner, sorry to say, was not anyone who purchased tickets from me. I did take a video of the drawing but have not, as yet, had a chance to upload it. (The truth is, I have not yet gotten my husband to upload it.) That will likely happen this Saturday, 4/16.
Anyway, as always, A BIG THANK YOU you to all of you for your contributions to this very important cause. Every contribution helps us move closer to finding the cure, and helps support those who have currently been diagnosed with blood cancers.
Over the past two years, we have raised over $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, mostly through our bike raffles, which are chronicled below. Thank you to all of you who participated and helped make this possible.
Unfortunately, we are not holding a bike raffle this year, as PayPal has changed their policy and no longer allows their accounts to be used for raffles, even if it is for a charitable cause. That just left us with the option of having the money from the online purchase of tickets go directly to my LLS donation site, and then separately raising the cash for the purchase of the bike. That felt too risky.
Thus, we are raffling items that require smaller, or no cash outlay. Our first raffle is for an

A maximum of Seven Hundred and Fifty Tickets will be sold, and the Raffle will be held when enough tickets have been sold up to the seven hundred and fifty total. The raffle may be held at less than seven hundred and fifty tickets sold, up to the discretion of the fund raising coordinator. So your chances may get better! The raffle will be held at Calabazas Cyclery at the announced date based on ticket sales. Emails and This Site will announce the Raffle Date and Time. A video of the drawing will be placed on this page along with the Name of the Winner. This Raffle is Donation based and your donation will place your name in the drawing with the appropriate number of tickets as per your donation.
